Lovely story from a friend…
An incredible love story has come out of China recently and managed to touch the world.
It is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century.
I’ve just read this long, sad story. Something that makes me misses my mum even more. Something you should read also.
Funny, right now I miss her scolding me every now and then, I miss kissing her every time I’m going to work, I miss her every existence, I just…miss her very much. I don’t know how to tell her that I love her when we talk. I’m going to call her. Write again later.
Seperti kata master oogway, “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called present.”
Tapi entah kenapa gw tetap ga bisa menikmati hari, rasanya hari Senin sampai Sabtu semuanya jadi blur dan ga bisa gw bedain lagi saking padatnya hari-hari itu. Mungkin juga karena hampir smua orang yang gw sayang ga ada di sekitar gw, jadi rasanya ga bisa savor the day T.T
I’ve been neglecting this blog for quite some time, because a long, long story comes up in the new shitty office.
Let’s do some recap…
First of all on Monday, June 9th, everything went gracefully okay, I was preparing to go home on time until a colleague says the server won’t boot up. So, at 7 PM I got this news and end up spending the same whole night trying every means to boot the server up. Several things like the command prompt safe mode gets into the nerve but decided to calm it all down and save the energy for the remaining day which turns out to be 6 AM the next day.
E-mail dari Ivan, bagus banget ^^
TUHAN : Kamu memanggilKu ?
AKU: Memanggilmu? Tidak.. Ini siapa ya?TUHAN : Ini TUHAN. Aku mendengar doamu. Jadi Aku ingin berbincang-bincang denganmu.
AKU: Ya, saya memang sering berdoa, hanya agar saya merasa lebih baik. Tapi sekarang saya sedang sibuk, sangat sibuk.TUHAN : Sedang sibuk apa? Semut juga sibuk.
AKU: Nggak tau ya. Yang pasti saya tidak punya waktu luang sedikitpun. Hidup jadi seperti diburu-buru. Setiap waktu telah menjadi waktu sibuk.

JAKARTA, Indonesia - European scuba divers swept away in strong currents survived 12 hours in shark-infested waters and then scrambled onto a remote Indonesian island where they faced yet another threat: a Komodo dragon.
The divers - three from Britain and one each from France and Sweden _ came face-to-face with the giant, carnivorous lizard on Rinca island’s palm-fringed beach, and fought it off by pelting it with rocks and pieces of wood, port official Pariman said Sunday.
“Luckily, they were able to chase it away,” said Pariman, who, like many Indonesians, goes by only one name.
The beasts have sharp, serrated teeth and often come out when they smell something new, including humans, whom they’ve been known to kill, Pariman said.
The divers encountered treacherous currents after plunging from their wooden boat off Tatawa island on Thursday afternoon. They drifted 20 miles (30 kilometers) from their dive site before swimming to Rinca, their last chance to avoid being swept into the open ocean.
“We struggled against the current for several hours, but eventually stopped,” 31-year-old Laurent Pinel, of France, told The Sunday Times of London. We “tied ourselves together by our diving vests to preserve energy.”
They ran into the Komodo dragon on Friday afternoon. The next day, rescuers plying the waters in more than 30 boats spotted them waving frantically on the shore and took them to Flores island for medical treatment.
The area where the diving trip took place is famous for its rich marine diversity, including sharks, manta rays and sea turtles. But it is also known for its treacherous and unpredictable seas.
Recommended only for experienced divers, it is in a place where the Indian and Pacific Oceans meet, creating currents that converge and separate. Whirlpools and eddies can pull divers downwards.
“We’re safe but absolutely exhausted and dehydrated,” Charlotte Allin, a 25-year-old British diver, was quoted by The Sunday Times of London as telling her parents from the hospital where the five were taken.
Komodo dragons, which can grow up to 10 feet (3 meters) long and weigh as much as 365 pounds (165 kilograms), are only found in the wild on Rinca and Komodo island. There are believed to be 4,000 left in the world.
Thousands of tourists visit the area in eastern Indonesia each year to see the lizards in their natural habitat. They are normally shown around the arid and rocky island by guides who carry large, forked sticks to ward off the lizards.

E-mail dari Angel, bikin terharu….
Ssst..tau gak siii ..? ternyata ayah itu MENAKJUBKAN! !!!
I’m sorry to neglected you for so long, my fellow readers, because apparently everything in my life has buzzed pass me in the speed of light. I savor every moment through the speed though, so just a story you might want to know is what has happened to me for these several nerve breaking experiences.
So right now, I am currently being employed overseas, not quite far away from my homeland, even close enough to smell the fresh air of my beloved green green grass of Indonesia. Well, not that close, just exaggerating.
So in this multinational country, it appears that racism is the main issue and if you don’t have white skin with deep blue eyes, you’re second class foreigner which might be better if you have yellow skin with slant eyes and ability to speak like most people who live in the most populated country in the world, China.
First weeks of my adventure was spent with going from an interview to another with several nerve breaking encounter of the snobbish and racist local people. Several were even messy enough that you want to split their head away from their neck. Apparently my experiences as professional network engineer in Jakarta, to their terms are not counted because for them Jakarta is a place you can throw sh*t to.
And during this adventure, I’ve realized that however messy and dirty my hometown was, there’s nothing feels better than home. And for your information, the food sucks over here.
It’s funny that in my earlier phases of life, the teenage angst would drive me nuts and keeps on hollering in my head to move out from home. I hated this, and that, and everything related to my hometown. But right now at every single time people keep asking where I’m from, I’ll be proudly shouted that I’m from Jakarta, the town even though smelly and polluted, I love it because every essence of me was born in that dodgy city and no single person can recall or determine this oddity. They just never been there and done that and experiences all the love I’ve been in.
I’m glad at this point of life I’ve been what I wanted to be and surrounded by the people I love. And for that, even the biggest jerk in this stupid country can’t plummet me down. I wish I can share this dumb happiness and blinding love, because I want you to feel the power that surge within you to take them all down. My deepest prayer comes to you, my dearest friends…
